Built - in compass & level are quite convenient, although small, and compass sometimes needs to be tapped to unstick needle. Light weight, easy to put in camera bag with lens attached.

Much better than expected Product: NN4 Starter Package Factory Irregular (F9419) Posted By: Mutant Pixel - Nodal Ninja must be overly obsessed about quality because to my eye I cant find a thing wrong with this 'factor irregular'. Its a great product, took me about 5 minutes to set up and use. Was completely confounded for 4 of those minutes as to how to connect it to my tri-pod as I had never seen a connector like they have, but I figured it out. The build quality of mine is superb and I got the setup for my camera and lens off the site and was shooting in just a few minutes. Ran the results through Photoshop and PTGui and both worked out great. Excellent product, though I'm subtracting 1 star (maybe a half star) for the lack of decent documentation. Could add a few better explanation, even if just with pictures (like they have but show more steps). Super duper happy with my "factory irregular" overall.

The quality is the same as the parts on my Nodal Ninja 3, which is great. There really isn't much to say, other than it "just works". It was easy to adjust and I had my camera attached to the Nodal Ninja in just a minute or two.

Manufacturing is really high quality and it does it's job perfectly. I have been advised to get this model for Canon 7D + Samyang 8mm and it is really good choice. You get a few brass rings to change panorama steps plus some replacements parts. I can fully recommend this product.

Reply from Nodal Ninja - We now have Version 2 of this ring with window however Google recommends taping the lens focus barrel anyway so not really needed.

Well executed conversion screw Product: Advanced Rotator M6 male to 3/8 male thread adapter (F9200) Posted By: N/A - Converting a 6mm screw for a SINAR clamping set to the standard 38" -16 TPI through an intermediary plate to hold standard tripod ball heads was a snap. I just had to thread the plate with a 3/8" tap. In particular your threading a stainless steel M6 set screw into a 3/8" stainless screw makes tightening and un - tightening controllable. Suggestion that you offer longer sizes in extra lengths, or allow the end user to adjust the depth of the M6 and then loctite it in. Thank you for this important specialized product.

RS-1 Perfect for my needs Product: NN RS-1 No Lower Rotator (F9701) Posted By: Steve Daniels, St. Petersburg, FL - I have a heavy-duty panoramic bracket from another manufacturer that I am perfectly happy with, but found that using it with my Nikon D90 and 10.5mm fisheye lens for spherical panos showed too many bolts and rails. I contacted Bill Bailey about ordering either a NN 3 MKII, or an RS-1 with ring mount. Bill suggested the RS-1 as being perfect for my equipment, so I ordered it. Upon receiving the RS-1 and assembling it, it looks even smaller than on the website. Attaching the camera and lens and setting the adjustments took less than five minutes, and I shot the first 360 with it. It stitched perfectly the first time. Autopano showed an RMS of 1.25 (Excellent). I am extremely happy with the purchase, and would strongly recommend the RS - 1 to anyone who uses a compact DSLR with the Nikon 10.5mm lens.

A simple part that expands the usability of my R1 Product: Ultimate R1/R10 Plastic Insert for Lens Ring Clamp (F6111) Posted By: Felip B. Gonzلlez - It was a nice surprise to find out that by replacing the insert ring from my R1 I could use it with different fisheye lenses. The support team at Nodal Ninja was very helpful and now, with a little investment I can use the same gear with my two favorite fisheyes.

Este pequeٌo producto garantiza la misma exposiciَn para el nadir que para el resto de fotografيas, lo que permite un ensamble perfecto de la panorلmica final. Quien compre el NN3 o el NN4 deberيa comprar este adaptador, si quiere hacer fotografيa esférica.

Totally satisfied with it's compactness and reliable performance. Perfect solution for using with small DSLR or ILS body combined with small rectilinear or fisheye lens. Easily accommodates my 5DMkII in combination with EF 8 - 15 fisheye lens. I have few NN pano heads (actually all of them :)) and pick NN3 in situations when I need precise zenith shot.
