Why Nodal Ninja? Simply put - precision products, exceptional value, top support - a winning combination of core values our company is built upon. We've gone head to head with the competition and continually come out on top - read the reviews. Our award winning panoramic tripod heads offer exceptional value without compromising quality backed by industry leading support. We have one of the largest selection of panoramic tripod heads and accessories available. Other companies may brag they have the best heads but this merely biased marketing. Ask others what they suggest through sites like Panoguide.com or Facebook and be sure to Google a companies reputation.
What is a Panoramic Tripod Head? Allows for the camera and lens to rotate around the no parallax point (NPP) of a lens, rather than the camera body, resulting in images free of parallax (the apparant shifting of objects foreground to background). No parallax allows for seamless stitching free of adjoining lines or banding. And take your photography to new heights with our new line of carbon fiber aerial poles.
Uses for Panoramic Photography: Virtual Reality (VR) tours, Immersive imagery allowing viewer to interact with image, Google Business Photography, Gigapixel or super high resolution mosaic photography to name just a few.
The menu bar on the left includes a category called "Recommendations". Here we suggest what panoramic tripod head best fits your needs. Here's a snapshot of what fits what: * If using exclusively fisheye lens (4.5mm-17mm) the R1/R10 series is the best choice. * With compacts and small DSLR's up 50mm, look to the NN3 series. * If shooting up to 100mm, or HDR look to the more robust NN4 (favored by most). * 200mm or more, look at the M series.
