A single row pano head designed for use with circular and full frame fisheye lenses. The R1 pano head incorporates a unique cantilever tilting option suitable for different fisheye lenses on different sensor formats under different applications. Please keep in mind the canter-lever design is not intended for user to shoot the nadir (down shot) or zenith (up shot) by simply tilting down or up from original position. Doing so skews the NPP of a lens creating errors in stitching. While there are some using advanced workflows that may offer solution, these usually come at the cost of added work in post-production processing of images. Generally speaking, the zenith shot can be eliminated if shooting with slight tilt up. With use of optional R1/R10 Nadir Adapter, there is also technique to shoot the nadir (down shot).

Different cameras can be used on the same lens without adjusting any settings.
Ideal for pole photography and/or use with monopod Arca Swiss Compatible quick release design.
8 precise on-the-fly tilting options (-15, -10, -7.5, -2.5, 0, +5, +7.5, +12.5 deg).
Options to capture (off-set from No-Parallax-Point) the zenith (up shot) and nadir (down shot) making nadir and zenith patching easier and making sharp long exposure captures possible.
Ability to roll the camera/lens in any position including the popular 0, 60 and 90 degree positions.
Lens clamp permanently mounted to lens making reproducible mounting possible and much quicker to setup.
Different cameras can be used on the same lens without adjusting any settings.
Compact and lightweight; great for use on monopods and high poles.
Advanced rotator RD10 SP with 10, 15, 36, 60, 90 degree detent options and pan lock.
Small nadir footprint.
Built-in spirit level.
Optional rail stop that is integrated into the Lens Ring Plate.
Weight: 485 grams (1lb 1oz).
RD10 SP upgradable to dual plunger option to support up to 200mm equivalent focal length, offering a lower cost pathway to multi-row pano head such as Nodal Ninja 3 MK3.
