This second generation RD8-II is designed to be used with the Ultimate M2 series heads.

Advanced Rotator D8 II Features

• Low profile with 8 detent options ranging from 30 to 2 degrees that can be changed on the fly.
• 88 mm in diameter to offer higher precision in angle indexing.
• Large thrust bearing to support the weight of supper telephoto lenses or medium format cameras.
• Suitable for wide angle and telephoto lenses up to 465 mm equivalent focal length in portrait orientation, and 700 mm in landscape orientation.
• 8 different degree stop increments (with equivalent number of stops around) include:
  • 2 (180 stops)*
  • 2.5 (144 stops)*
  • 3 (120 stops)*
  • 4 (90 stops)
  • 5 (72 stops)
  • 6 (60 stops)
  • 15 (24 stops)*
  • 30 (12 stops)

*Requires dual detent plungers.
e.g. One plunger installed in 4° socket to get a 4° interval. Another plunger installed in 4°/2 socket to get a 2° interval.
