20 Years of Nodal Ninja Deserves a Moment of Reflection.

It’s hard to believe, what feels like the blink of an eye, two decades have passed. What began as a small hobby project in early 2004 has grown into something far greater than I could have ever imagined.
Though I never marked the exact day it all started, today (February 17th) holds special meaning. It marks 20 years since Bill Bailey joined me in bringing Nodal Ninja to the world.
Bill’s hard work, creative marketing, passion, and personal charisma have been instrumental in shaping Nodal Ninja into a globally recognized brand. Thanks to his dedication, what was once a niche product has reached tens of thousands of customers worldwide. But beyond business success, Bill has built something even more meaningful, a supportive and enthusiastic community that really feels like family. I’m deeply grateful for his partnership and, more importantly, his friendship over the years which continues to this day.
Reaching this milestone is no small achievement. Small businesses face countless challenges, and longevity is never guaranteed. But thanks to our incredible customers and resellers who share our passion and values Nodal Ninja continues to thrive. Your loyalty, feedback, and brilliant ideas have played a vital role in shaping our products and driving us forward. "We listen, we try harder", and we wouldn’t have made it this far without you.
A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Wim Koornneef and John Houghton for their unwavering support, countless tutorials, and personal guidance. I’m also incredibly grateful to Dorin Godja for joining the team early on with Bill and later closely working with Fanotec in developing the automated Nodal Ninja MECHA. His dedication, along with hundreds of firmware updates, has made MECHA the most customizable and feature-rich robotic pano head on the market today. And believe me, our whiteboard is packed with ideas and still so much more ahead!
While time may change many things, one thing remains constant, our commitment to providing the highest quality products and the kind of customer support we would want to receive ourselves.
