Shutdown from web interface does not work while charging

Tapping or clicking "Shut down" while charging displays the confirmation window but the Mecha does not shutdown when "OK" is selected. Firmware version B_E_01349.

In B_E_01359 I added [2] [3] [<] code to disable/enable the motor, that could help to prevent any move by accident from either interface or by pressing buttons while charging, e.g. by curious kids.

    cheers,
    Dorin

As you posted here, it can remain here, not sure yet if is a bug however. I'll address in next FW update.

    cheers,

I just realized I should have reported this in the Mecha Bug Report thread. Can you move this there or should I repost there?

It seems that is need for some more info here. After Wi-Fi shut-down from web interface, at next power ON if no button is pressed at - = - = - = - =
Mecha will have Wi-Fi ON but will start in AP mode with 192.168.8.1
If you want for Mecha to connect to last Wi-Fi again is need to press [2] for 3 seconds at - = - = - =

ATM I'm not sure if this is a bug, but if is, I'll be fixed.

    cheers,
    Dorin

Yes, the Wi-Fi will be back ON when powering-up again.

Depending on charger, if is"smart" charger and stops power after Mecha is fully charged, Mecha will shut-down automatically after the charging is complete.

    Dorin

If I turn off Wi-Fi from the web interface before the shut-down will it automatically turn-on after I power it on?

This is known, as long as Mecha receives power it will stay ON, perhaps I'll implement some lock mode.
I believe is good for users be sure Mecha cannot be moved by accident while is charging.
For now you can turn off Wi-Fi from interface before the shut-down.

I'll add this at known issues in next FW until the lock mode is implemented.
I can turn off Wi-Fi automatically before shut-down command but as it stays ON, it can lead to confusion why it cannot be accessed.
Will be a solution to this for sure.

    cheers,
    Dorin
