Hi all , i'm an amateur photographer from belgium. I love to photograph buildings but cannot afford a tilt shift lens. Is it possible with a Nodal Ninja and Software ? I have a Nikon D7100 and 17-55 f2.8 lens but would a 24 or 28 mm better ? I can buy a used Nodal Ninja 3 mkII , will this work with my Nikon D7100 and lens ?

    Thanks for any help !

    Kind regards , Patrick

17-55 f2.8 may be too big for NN3.
You can use software to achieve shift effect. you need higher resolution to compensate the lose of quality in image transformation. Tilt effect is more difficult--I assume you want to change dof using tilt. It requires change of focus for different row/ column of images.

Nick , thx for the reply. I would use the nodal ninja for high buildings and ptgui for correcting the perspective. The Nikon d7100 and 17-55 or sigma 10-20 i have are to big for the NN3. A 24mm or 28mm from Nikon are smaller lenses so It will fit but on a crop camera i will have a 36 or 42 mm lens. Would this be ok for shooting pano's ?? Thx. patrick

25.7 deg detent will be good for your 24mm lens.
