    Hello,

I was wondering if there is anybody here who actually uses the 5D Mark2 with the 24-105 setup here.

I use the NN4 with the RD16 but I'm sort of contemplating on the panning angle.

With the 16-35 lens, I can shoot every 60 degrees with a vertical angle of 30 degrees up and down. I then shoot a nadir and zenith (both 90 degrees up and down).

Although I'm not sure if this is the way to shoot VR photography, it works and it saves time.

Just in case something happens to my wide lens, as backup, I think the 24-105 can deal well with VR photography. Although I think that 36 degrees works, I would like to know if anyone has a better workflow.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi,
    your workflow is ok.

Have a look to this database: http://www.vrwave.com/panoramic-lens-database/canon/

    Hello hindenhaag,

Thank your for the link. Bookmarked!

As with the 16-35, my setup is exactly the way it is recommended on the site. What luck! It is amazing how the brain works to calculate the best setup.

Unfortunately, the 24-105 isn't listed on the site but I think 36 degrees is okay with a pitch of 30 degrees.
