What is this part?

This plate came with my NN4, and I can't quite figure out what it is for. It doesn't have the part to go in the groove of the arm to keep the camera from rotating downward.

I'm stumped!

It's the second plate that goes with the CP-2 (http://shop.nodalninja.com/camera-plate-cp-cp2-f2109/) included with the NN4. Normally with NN4 you got two plates like this one similar, with one smaller and one bigger corner on it. Depending of the body of your camera you can use one or the other that fits the best !
