I'm in the market for a new tripod and I'm trying to find something with a small footprint to minimize the amount of post processing I need to do for 360's.
It will be used mostly in houses on surfaces like hardwood floors and carpet. I'm not sure if anyone has tried something similar but I'm envisioning something like a heavy 12" plate with a monopod attached to it.
It shouldn't be too hard to make something like this and it would be nice to not have to remove tripod legs from each shot.
I'll be using a D800 with a shaved 10.5mm for full 360's.
