In a short time the RS-1 became one of my favorit pano heads.
The reason for this is the combination of low weight, small size and the fact that you can shoot the zenith shot in NPP.
Having the option to shoot a zenith shot in NPP is very important when making a pano inside a building, of course with other lens ring panoheads this is often also possible but it requires some extra actions to shoot the zenith shot in NPP.
Here are a couple of panoramas from the PanoTools Meeting 2012 in Den Haag I made with a RS-1 on top of a Fanotec Series 2 pole with Tripod Adapter and a Feisol tripod (6 round shots + 1 zenith shot).
