I'd like to know who is the Nadir adapter?
this is the 360x360 turning around everything adapter from US, the president of Nodal Ninja country. On his right you can see Mauro Contrafatto from Sicily, our italian distributor. This picture was taken during a demonstration of Wim our pole specialist on how to shoot with the pole during the Panotools meeting last week in the hague. It was a great meeting and well organized by Wim, Aldo and Joost and their wives. Thx a lot to them.
I think it was the first time to be able to meet the whole Fanotec Nodal Ninja Family: Bill Bailey and his wife Kim, Nick Fan and his wife Sandy with their beautiful daughter Angie, Vincen Pujol from france, Mauro Contrafatto from italy and last but not least Andrew Badderly from scotland. We do not have to be afraid, Angie is very similar to her father. Interested to everything, busy all day long and not shy at all. Though she was totally new to a different culture, people looking different to those in hongkong, she was open to contact everybody and enjoy her life, drawing pics on the small mobile etc.
I enjoyed the meeting and loved to be able to get in contact personally with the Nodal Ninja Fanotec Family. I had a good time of dinners, testing equipment, basic discussions and walk around the hague to find some presents for their family at home.
Mauro actually took the big bulk job to organize the next PanoToolsMeeting in Sicily next year. Good luck Mauro.
Thx to all of you, was nice to meet you and Wim and Aldo and Joost.
That's the true meaning of the term "panohead". But I think this config is quite operator specific....
I was surpised Kim and myself were only 2 people to travel from US. Special thanks go to Nick - the developer, inventor and manufacturer (Fanotec) of Nodal Ninja. This was Nick's first public pano event he has attended and also the first time "we" had met as well. So the event was very special. For Nick to travel so far with Sandy and little Angie was also I'm sure fun planning and undertaking.
Because of the cost in attending these venues and given their small numbers we aren't sure if we can do future meetings. But we'll always be supportive of the events. Iceland in June will be much larger with broader participation and we're already saving and budgeting for it. I believe too Nick will also attend. And we hope to see some forum members make the conference.
