    Hi,

I've been away for awhile tied up with work. I took delivery of a Series 2 pole just before Xmas with the express purpose of getting some extra reach on my existing Series 1. I hadn't used either until the other day and it also gave me an opportunity to pull out and dust off the Ultimate R1.

The pano can be seen here - http://tiny.cc/czefd.

Shot about 6m up on the end of a combined Series 1 + 2 pole with a Nikon D7000, Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8 fisheye mounted on an Ultimate R1.

All images have been shot -2EV, 0EV, +2EV processed in Photomatix, PTGui and Pano2VR.

I'm pretty happy about the overall result and I'm also pretty happy about the processing on the nadir cap either with or without my branding image.

I didn't shoot the zenith as I really don't see a lot of value when you are up a pole but would be interested in knowing if people are shooting zeniths and if so how.

    Enjoy
    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Looking good for the first pole pano. I don't think you need the zenith.
But I don't like the dreamy look of the pano, which should be a result of HDR processing of moving leaves.

We're all a little bit dreamy here in Adelaide.
