  1. stitching -- Photoshop, PTGui?

I am brand new to this. Photoshop does stitching. I tried it on some handheld 360s and it seemed to work great. I am sure the problems it had was because the images were shot hand held and will buy fine once I get my NN.

Does PTGui do a better job than Photoshop and it is worth buying since I already have PS?

    David,

for the best get PTGuiPro that offers masking action besides other great features so you do not have to change to PS very often.

Photoshop cannot handle fisheye images and its processing capabilities for 360x180 panoramas are half baked at best. It can work quite well for stitching images from standard lenses, and the auto-blend layers option can sometimes be useful when processing images out of PTGui (e.g. nadir patching).

ah.. I was using my 18-200 set at 200 which is why it worked so well. Will definitely get the PTGui. Thanks again
