That's why most of us use Nodal Ninja Products and PTGuiPro.

Sorry I forgot to mention Vincen,
Since I got the longer side bars of GigaPanoPro to be able to fix big boys like Nikkor 300mm/f2.8 with lens collars to it, it might be a pleasure to try it. There are To's and Pro's for both of the software at the moment.
It is EU right now, but deep in our hearts it seems to be Sarkozy against Rutten.
I am a sort of neutral, but I have not done too many Gigas. A lot of weight to carry with you to walk for longer distances to reach the beach. Not to compare to the alps and grenoble region.
Seems to be there is a hut at the end of the walk to get some food to restore your body
I could not test PTGui for Gigas with the newest versions of both of them. But let us see.
Let me take it this way, your partner on this forum for Kolor/GigaPano is Vincen.
As a basic I use PTGuiPro. Cause Joost is around the corner in Rotterdam. And he listens similar to NN philosophy
BUT AT LEAST NICK IS RIGHT: WORTH TO HAVE A LOOK TO THE NEW VIDEOS OF PTGui Pro.
Cheers,
Heinz

I succeed to do it at ski so you can do it at beach, it's easier access ;) and no hut at top of mountain, only pleasure to enjoy the view and be able to shoot a nice panorama

well we are in similar situation my friendJoost is round the corner for you, Kolor is round the corner for me
Right, simple and easy to understand :) a must for beginners in panorama shooting
