    Hi,

I'm planning to buy a new panohead and the R1 seems to be perfect. But as I have an Pentax K10D camera, I wanted to know if the -15° of inclinaison is enough to shoot the nadir with the 10-17mm?

    Thanks!

-15 deg includes too much rotator footprint. You can use -10 deg instead. This also keeps the zenith hole smaller. You need to take a zenith shot off-set from NPP. For flat ceiling and outdoor sky, it is fine. Otherwise, advanced skills in stitching and post processing may be needed.
Please note that, lens ring for pentax 10-17mm will bump into the flash housing of the camera during installation when the camera is in portrait mode with handgrip pointing up. Users need to loose the ring to install the lens on camera and tighten it afterward. Alternatively, a roll of 60 deg can also be used.
