Peleng 8mm ring for Ultimate ?

Do you know if Peleng 8mm Canon lens ring can be used also with Peleng 8mm lens Nikon mount ?

The distance between lens mount and flash housing is much smaller in other cameras than Canon, so it doesn't fit a Nikon. Sincle a very limited number of users could be interested in this version of the ring, Nick did not develop it.

no. Canon lens ring can't be used with Peleng 8mm lens Nikon mount.
Peleng in Nikon mount is very short in length. flash housing is too close to lens mount. The dedicated mount from Peleng is very bad. I have one for Canon which is very loose. I plan to made my own dedicated Nikon mount which has built-in mount for installing lens plate. It will take some time though.
In fact, after release of Samyang 8mm, Peleng will lose it attractiveness very quickly.

Talking about Samyang, Nick, is there a way to improve the lens ring in a way that focusing will be possible?

I'm selling it very well in bundle with the shaved version of the lens, but customers sometimes goes for a "normal" panoramic head because they want to keep control of the focal distance.

By the way, anyone interested in the shaved Samyang with full 1 year warranty?

Yes, the lens is already shaved, and lead time is approximately 1 week.

Prices for Samyang lenses will be raised starting June 1st, so I would suggest to hurry up if you want to make stock of both the normal or shaved versions.

That is too complicated to have a ring with free focus control. Actually, you should try to change focus distance by dof control. eg try to find a focus distance which works for indoor at F8 and outdoor at F11.

BTW, how can you retain warranty for shaved lens?
