1. Grand Canyon at Sunset

Been awhile since I posted a pano so here's one I recently put together. I shot this on a cold windy day last Dec at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon just as the sun was setting.
Pano gear: NN5 wRD16 + EZ-Leveler-II
Very far from perfection but it's good to have something to strive for.

Full screen mode, lens flare, cap only works from website link: click here

thx - Most people visit the GC in the Summer - Winter cold keeps most tourists away. Some areas of the park had about 3-4 feet of the white stuff. The snow adds great contrast but need to be careful not to get to close to the edges.

Bill,

please do us a favour not to step too close.

First because we want to see other nice panos, second you stand for Nodal Ninja. So keep away from edges.

Well I did stay behind the barrier this time - not like the last time however: http://www.circularworlds.com/panos/gc708.html
When doing cliff edge panos the trick I learned is NOT to look up when shooting the zenith :

Not many cliffs around here however - just snakes and cactus.
thx
