I make few test's for the lens write above, using on NN5L, and I want to check if everybody has got the same results.
Could you tell me what value you use for A rail and B rail, for the three lens !?
For the "A rail" with 5D mark II, I use the same value, with all three lens ( A = 57 )
Thank you, Heinz... but
The are not innformation about Canon 5D Mark II, and also they are not information about 24 mm Focal Lenght, and as you allready said, no information about 50 mm or 70 x 200 mm.
That the reason that I'm asking about other experience of Nodal Ninja Forum Members
Hello again, Heinz
I hope that they are users who are interested in this subject, so I will continue this public dialog, about this unusual lens for panoramic photography. Thank you for your patience, Heinz !
So, according to honorable Bill Bailey ( http://nodalninja.com/forum/index.ph...8.html#msg3128 ), the 5D and 5D Mark II body are very similar in size; however the distance to sensor may vary along with other internal design components.
Maybe Bill Bailey, Nick Fan or Terry Woodenpick know more about this lens and Canon body combinations
I will make the test with the link bellow ( thank you, one more time ) and I will put there my results.
From other point of view, what lens do you use on your nikon equipment, for panoramic photo' !?
the distance lens flange to sensor for EOS cameras is always 44mm for canon. It has to be the same because of the autofocus system is used for all cameras. So there is no change inside the camera body.
I use Sigma 8/f3.5, nikkor 16/f2.8, 14-24/f2.8, 24-70/f2.8, 50/f1.4. Most of the time 16mm, in better situations 50mm or 14-24mm, but this have to be calm situations cause bracketing takes a lot of shots and that means a lot of time.
Nikon D3, NN5 RD16, just testing R1 with Sigma cause this is new to me.
