Problem with T20: Screw of rail is too long

Hi there,

I have a new T20 for use with longer lenses on my NN5. But it looks like the screw of the mounting rail is either too long or the holes in the T20 are a bit too short. It is not possible to tighten the adapter, there is still a little bit of space, even when tightening the screw very heavy.

Do I need another rail?
Is that a known problem?
Can I just shorten the screw 1 mm?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

I have just taken delivery of an NN5 and T-20 Adapter in the UK. I am also having this issue that I cannot tighten the T-20 adapter into the top rail so that it fits tightly. Again it seems that the hole for the screw is perhaps not long enough.

Any Suggestions? I would be interested how the original poster resolved the problem.
