Using Nodal Ninja 3 + MKII with canon EOS 350D and 18-55mm lens

I am very new to the site and the processes involved in taking panoramic photos. I was wondering if the Nodal Ninja 3 + MKII would work well with my canon 350D and the standard 18-55mm lens or whether I need the larger and more robust NN5? I have noticed the NN5 is much more expensive so am really hoping the NN3 will do the job!

I use my 40D and 17-55 2.8 on a NN3 mk2 with out any trouble so I suspect your smaller kit would be fine.

But a NN5 will fit any later purchases of cameras or lenses, so the nn3 might turn out to be a short term option.

Also the NN5 is much sturdier.

However NN3 mk2 sell very well on ebay (sometimes they get even more than the new price)
so it would not be a bad investment if that is what you can afford now.
