Entrance pupil point for D40 and tamron 10 mm - 24mm lens
Having some difficulties finding the entrance pupil point for this camera and lens combination.
Nodal Ninja Used: Nodal Ninja 3 MKII with RD3L 6-8-10 Rotator/EZ-Leveler-II
Camera: Nikon D40
Lens: Tamron SP AF10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) NEW
I found out that by pointing my lens down towards the center of the nodal ninja 3 and finding the lower rail settings, i will get a lower rail settings of 52mm which is 2mm away from recommended 50mm,
I am still unable to find my upper rail settings, i think it might not even be in the upper rail setting range which max go to 107mm with the Camera plate attached.
Does anyone know the settings for this lens?
For this lens, i have to take 2 rows of 8 (+/- 30) one zenith and a nadir to have a 360 x 180( Still having parallax error with my (LowerR:50mm UpperR: 107mm) settings
Is there a better way to go about doing it? Don't really mind resolution but work flow must be faster in shooting and post processing.
Thanks in advance!
