NN5 with Sony Camera 18mm/70mm Lens

Really new to all of this, I've got the above camera and think its all setup pretty well getting some reasonable results but if I want to create a total 360 panaroma of a room what are the recommended angles for the upper and lower shots when using the lens at 18mm setting, also what would be the best ring to use, I took 20 but that seems a little excessive.

I know I could get this via trial and error but I'm sure someone here can explain this very quickly...

you can find settings for many popular lens here. Only the angle of view of lens is important, so just look at the focal length and the crop factor. Sony has 1.5x crop factor.

you can use this setting

Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G-AFS ED-IF DX

* Full frame=18-70mm, HFOV: 90¬? - 29¬?| VFOV: 67¬? - 19¬? | DFOV: 100¬? - 34¬?
* 1.5x=27-105mm, HFOV: 67¬? - 19¬? | VFOV: 48¬? - 13¬? | DFOV: 77¬? - 23¬?
