  1. Anybody offer a panoramic stitching service?

Sorry if this sounds a bit daft, but is there anybody on the forum that would provide the stitching service if I email the pics to them.
I have a NN3, EOS 20d, 10-22 efs lens, and will shortly be taking some pics for my website.
I am trying to get a panorama shot (stitched, flat picture, that sits the full width of the web page) and one good 360 degree tour sample, to advertise 360 tours as part of a photographic offering.

I am planning on purchasing Realviz unlimited (or whatever it is now called), but fear that the learning curve to produce a good job may take a while.
Is it viable for me to subcontract out this side of things?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would be happy to help you to build your panos but consider shooting in RAW mode with all settings in manual and don't change anything on your camera between each shot ! You can try to build your pano by yourself using the excellent PTGui software that works really great ! I would not advise Realviz Stitcher that is an all automatic software but doesn't give really good results in my idea, and it's really too expensive in my idea !

    Hope it helps you

Thanks for the offer and advice. I am planning on shooting in RAW. Interesting what you say about Realviz! Having no pano experience as yet, isn't the automatic feature of RV a benefit or is it quite straight forward using PTGui?

Is this the general view of the majority on this forum or just that PTGui is your personal fav?

    Cheers

Please send me an email so I can get back to you re the panoramics.

My point of view is that nearly all automatic function of Realviz is its main inconvenient compared with PTGui, that works really well in automatic mode if you do all your shots correctly !
