just bought a Gitzo G2285M. Unfortunately it does not fit our QRS2. A large clamping area is truncated from the old design.
It will take some time to make a compatible version.
Probably, I can make a prototype for you first.

    Sorry for late reply.
Did not know you have posted a reply.
    I have this one:
    http://www.amazon.com/Gitzo-GS5370C-.../ref=pd_cp_p_3

I do not have a telelens. I will think of something so you can see the dimensions.

That is the same as mine except for the rubber padding. Mine has cork padding.

Request: can you make a Nodal Ninja adapter which is compatible with the Gitzo plates and your system?

    Update:
I am using the following accessory to mount my Canon 50D with the Gitzo quick release plates on a Nodal Ninja 3:
    Gitzo 2285MB - http://www.adorama.com/GZ2285MB.html
I use the T-adapter to position my Canon 50D and Canon 17-55 f2.8 IS lens, because I seem to need the extra 'backward' room the T-plate gives.
I will be making some test shots. I keep you posted.

I have uploaded some photos on flickr so you can see how I use the NN3 MKII in combination with the Gitzo quick release.
