How to use the new Gitzo quick release system witn NN3 MKII

just bought a Gitzo G2285M. Unfortunately it does not fit our QRS2. A large clamping area is truncated from the old design.
It will take some time to make a compatible version.
Probably, I can make a prototype for you first.

That is the same as mine except for the rubber padding. Mine has cork padding.

Update:
I am using the following accessory to mount my Canon 50D with the Gitzo quick release plates on a Nodal Ninja 3:

I use the T-adapter to position my Canon 50D and Canon 17-55 f2.8 IS lens, because I seem to need the extra 'backward' room the T-plate gives.
I will be making some test shots. I keep you posted.
