  1. Mounting on Manfrotto 190B

    Hello

    I have a Manfroto 190B tripod, and a 141RC Head.
As the head is HUGE i descided not to use it with my NN3.

But the center hole inside the NN3 to attach it to the tripod is to small.
I can use one of the outer holes, but then the NN3 isn't mounted on the center of the tripod.
Is this ok or am i doing it wrong?

Also, for the shots all the way down, to you usualy shoot these from the hand?

    Thanks for the help!

The hole in the centre of the NN3 is 3/8 inch, it also has a 1/4 adapter screwed in it.

Un-screw the adapter and store it in the outer hole.
the centre hole will then fit your manfrotto tripod... that is how I use mine.

As to taking the down shot ... how you chose to do it is your own preference.
There are many Ideas for this in posts on this site and many others.

    Thanks!

What height do you suggest for taking pano's btw?

I'm guessing that the tripod legs need to be as short as possible (less removal afterwards), or should i set it up at eye height?
