Travel Pole Questions
I currently have a Pole Series 1 upper unit with Pole Rotator and Pole Foot Plate at the bottom and a Quick Mount Mini on the top.
The product description for the Travel Pole shows the weight with case as .97 kg.
The product description for the Pole Series 1 upper unit as .75 kg with no mention of a case.
Which pole is lighter without their respective cases?
Will any of the external levels fit the travel pole?
Will the pole rotator/foot plate and QMM work with the Travel Pole?
Travel Pole is heavier due to more metal connectors. It is a "travel" series only because of its min length. At ~50cm, you pack it easily in luggage case.
Exteral level of pole 1 can be fitted to travel pole with simple mod. all accessories except tripod adapter work for it.
Any idea of when the optional custom fittings for the Advanced Level will be avaible? I wand to mount one to a Travel Pole.
You have Advanced Level for Pole 1, right?
We have the fitting now. If you buy from nn.com. They should have one.
I do not have an advanced level. I want to order one for my travel pole.
The only mention of fittings I can find is on the Product Description page of the Pole Series 1 Advanced Level where it states:
"compatible with other poles with diameter from 25-35 mm by ordering optional custom fitting (coming soon)"
I don't know how to order a custom fitting for my travel pole as they are not shown as an order-able item.
I will ask Bill to list the Advanced one too.
Sorry Martin for the wrong answer.
The advanced leveler is already listed Nick:
Thanks Nick. I will look for it.
The only listings for Advanced levels on the page pointed to by your link "http://shop.nodalninja.com/pole-accessories-3/" are
Pole Series 1 Advanced Level (F7158) and
Pole Series 2 Advanced Level (F7157).
I can find no listing for an advanced level to fit a travel pole.
Is it possible to mount the travel pole to the Fanotec Series I upper unit?
So you will have 2.75+2.90=5.60 mtr.
no. Travel pole is derived from 2 shortened Pole 1.
