Manfrotto r2 quick release

Is it possible to put a Manfrotto quick release r2 on the nn4 camera plate?

Have been viewing the site via iPhone and the links are not always loading. I take single row panographs for 1:3 images and am looking at a lighter bracket that will fit in my backpack (and better looking) than one I have made myself. The nn4 looks most suitable. I am using a d800 and a 20 mm lens (occasionally a 50 mm or a 90 mm). Your thoughts?

Yes. Just mount the QR to the camera plate.
