NN5L wtih D3s and Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 OR Sigma 8mm f/3.5
I am going out of town and of course want to take panoramas. I am also the designated family photographer. I would really like to be able to take them using the 24-70 instead of the 8mm for two reasons. 1) I won't be able to drag an extra lens and 2) I have not been really happy with how sharp my images are on the 8mm.
It seems like the 24-70 would be the best option, and I am very pleased with it in general (though I have not yet attempted panoramas with it). I *think* I can get everything I need/want with that lens if I tape it at 24 mm for the panoramas. Is my thinking flawed on this?
