How to fit your lens cap for a shaved Nikkor 10.5

cable tie with 7,5 millimeter.

gosh why do you post horror movies here ? :crying: for info Tobias shave with a laser, less dangerous for lens :biggrin:

This is how I did it. Very precise. With patience, it takes about 5-10 minutes or so to shave off the hood.

Snip the head off of a zip tie and place the headless body coiled up inside the stock lens cap and you are finished.
