I played around with quick mount mini. I am referring to your picture with the Quick Mount Mini and adapter on top of pole without rotator. The easiest way for me to change Nadir Zenith position would be to turn the camera around the quick mount mini plate. This would be quicker for me than to take off the lens ring and turn the camera around. My question: to get the quick mount mini in a fixed position + - 90°, you could use the B1 holes at the bottom of the clamp. Can you add a feathered ball klick screw which uses the B1 holes to klick in and give a fixed +- 90° position? And add a white mark on the outside of the quick mount mini clamp which corresponds to a mark on the new adaptor to have a visible sign besides the klick? I do not know wether there is room enough to add the klick ball screw.
Just some thoughts to try to make it easy to change from Nadir to Zenith without taking the system apart but just loosen the quick mount mini screw a little bit?
