Thanks for suggestion and appreciation of my work :blush: For NPS, already tried in past but you have to own 2 "pro" body and I have D3 and D90 (that last one is not considered as pro body !) unless I have bunchs of lenses, it's not accepted :sad:

The only favorite point to this brilliant Pano is this: because the Netherlands are a flat country: I can see on monday that you try to meet me on friday walking or taking a bicycle.

Brilliant, without any question, people who are around this area should try to enjoy it!

So here is final version of that chairlift arrival of Pincerie :) I added few control points in PTGui to prevent few errors on metal parts, looks like PTGui was confused by all these metal stuffs :blush:

It would have needed definitively HDR shots but was too rush for shot (enjoyed a breakdown stop due to hydraulic failure in down station) so was not sure to be able to have enought time to shoot whole panorama before restart of installation !

I copied the pic from the web, imported in to PS, converted it into 16 bit tiff. Imported to PhotomatixPro. Tonemapped, to get a HDRI out of one shot. Just let it go through, and I was really amazed about the result.

Those who are interested use the "help" button in Photomatix. Three ways to do it. One way is to convert it 16bit tiff. I never tried this function before, but it is not bad is it?

Definitively, result is pretty amazing :) I just tried with the original 16 bitt of whole panorama but it looks file is too big for Photomatix. I'll try on individual pictures to check more in details results it can get. Thanks for the try, I appreciate it :)

My problem, I am sitting on an Imac 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. We have DSL connection.

Loading time is long. Starts turning before it is fully loaded. Moves in segments, not smoothly. Some start moving smoothly, then do harder stops and go on smoothly, stopping again. May be it is my computer.
I'll try it at home again with Mac Pro. Just to let you know.

I suppose you took the Gigapixel with 70-200? Might be worth to mention it.

Do we see this work in the Nikon Pro Magazine as an article from France?? :rockon:

And I add I think a lot of Blood, Sweat and Tears to get it all on the mountain at the right time at several different days, days with long walks cause the lift was not working. And we know you have been there on extra days, you shot a pano but weather conditions have not been that nice. Now you must be very fit!

The last days there has been a discussion about lens flare of 14-24 concerning the big huge front element. I like it in most of the panos. There is one?.. where it is very obvious and sharp. What do you think of photoshopping?

Perhaps it would be better that I remove auto-rotation at begin so it would load faster :th_cool:

Right it was the one shot with 70-200 + doubler (350mm equivalent !)

Well at least a lot of of time spent on border of slopes installing my tripod and all stuffs and few times a little afraid not to be hit by a skier :th_cool: For fit question, I think I should shot panos day and night all year long :biggrin:

Well most of time I don't remove it from panos as I like the effect in fact ;) but it's pretty easy to remove in panos as it generally doesn't appear same way on two next shots so you can use priority in PTGui and it helps a lot :)
