as excellent as usual! Besides the hints of Bill try to always get this weather conditions when you step out.
We talked about ND filter use changing from top to bottom a time ago to get rid of very strong sunlight. An idea I got from Seacat. This is what I found yesterday: for one of our favorite lenses:

I use this system (albiet not for the wideangles). It is great system to use. Because the filters plates are so big you could also just hold them by hand over front of lens in a pinch.Quote:

Minus 8ºC in the morning here on slopes but it quickly warms and in afternoon snow is very slushy :( So here is a quick post of trial done today ! I used R1 with Nikkor 10.5 shaved on D3, on top of Quick mount release on top of P1 pole installed on footplate on floor :)Quote:

P-S: Temporary link so it won't work more than few days and I'll update it with final link :D
Ready to unload from chairlift ? First try done in rush during hydraulic failure of the chairlift :D so few stitching errors and exposure not so good :( I'll reshoot it tomorrow probably if I can get one chair full of people ready to unload, stop chairlift and shoot !

Hey, great shot in this small area smaller than the lighthouses where there was a longer discussion about the effect of shooting through windows on another forum. You shot 4 around at what setting: 0º ?

3 shots around at 0º :) just need to adjust horizontal rail as 2cm doesn't look to be ok (bubble doesn't recover perfectly between each shot !). For shooting through window, we selected the only brand new cabin they just installed that winter on that telemix so windows are still perfectly clean :D Will shot it again tomorrow with telecabin stopped to avoid ghost chair floating around through the window... and will use small tripod at bottom of pole to get it perfectly stable !Quote:

It's good to see you pushing your limits with panoramas telling more of a story (don't be afraid to smile). Some of the areas you shooting require fast workflow or you'll get hit by chairs swinging around.
And not sure if you noticed but this thread is receiving a lot of attention.

You know I like your work. Think it is time to get you into nikon pro group in france and you should try to publish your work in the Nikon pro magazine as an article of france about panorama photography, D3 14-24mm/f2.8 Might be you could talk about this theme in one of the regional meetings if they are there in France and you would like to do something like this.
