Rail Settings for D90 & Sigma 10-20mm QRS2

I am horrible at figuring this stuff out :confused1:. My camera is Nikon D90, lens is Sigma 10-20mm w/ NN5L and the QRS2 http://store.nodalninja.com/product_p/qrs-2.htm

Anyone have this set up and want to share your rail settings?

Hi Julie,

check LRS 55, URS with 164. http://wiki.panotools.org/Entrance_Pupil_Database. You get URS by adding L1 + L2. @ zoom 10.

Oh yikes. The settings I've been using for the last 7 months are nowhere near your settings, but the panos have been stiching just fine. My lower rail setting is 70 and my upper rail setting is 105.5. This is with a monfrotto RC2 connector plate on the camera with the QRS2 (the RC2 sticks out about 2mm above the QRS2) on the upper rail. I remember having to move things around and change some pieces on the QRS2 to get it to work with the RC2. Could that be why my numbers are so different than yours. Also my UR number is based on where the line is painted on the QRS2 and not necessarily where the center is (they are several mm appart) - does that make sense? I could post pictures if needed.

I just shoot single row panos for Real Estate and they have been stiching just fine in The Panorama Factory.

Now I've just upgraded to the Nikon D7000 and I'm going to have to start all over again - not excited about that at all!!
