Compatibility with Manfrotto Quick Release

I standardized my mounting system around the Bogen Manfrotto quick release system and ball head. The plate and release plate look like this:

I have the NN5L and would like to keep the Manfrotto plate on my cameras, and allow for quick on-off on the NN5L for my cameras. I see that Fanotec now offers this, and says it "will work with many Manfrotto plates..."

Any one know if the Manfrotto plate I am using (upper picture) will allow use of the new Fanotec Quick Release?

Please check NN3 and Nicks answer from 31. of december about the manfrotto plate. I think he has constructed an extra fitting side plate.

If you want to keep the clamp/plate system you have now another option is to use our 3/8" rail plate:

With plate attached to a Manfrotto clamp this allows mounting onto the rail of the Nodal Ninja.

Get the QRC2. It is more convenient to use them Manfrotto + rail plate, which requires you to use with the plate perpendicular to the camera body.
