Hi!
I have owned a NN3 for about a year and had been using it with a Canon Rebel XT. I sold the big SLR and purchased a Panasonic Lumix LX3 compact point-and-shoot. Would like to continue using the NN3, but have yet to find any tips or settings for using this compact camera with the NN3. I rarely do 360's, generally 180 panos, just FYI.
Anyone able to help with setting for this new camera? Are the compacts more forgiving in locating the nodal point than the big SLR's.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
NN3 was primarily built for point and shoot cameras. Finding the correct no parallax point (NPP) is very important (+/- 2mm's). You might have to find your NPP manually for the focal length you decide to shot at. John gives a great tutorial: http://www.johnhpanos.com/epcalib.htm

I did a LX3 with NN3 earlier this year. http://bit.ly/4lB11A, sorry i did not take note of the settings but it is easily attainable.
