yes.
Re: New lens rings for R1 and R10
The Samyang is a complex lens.
A) On FF it need to be shaved.
B) The focus AND aperture-ring needs to run free.
Focus too ? Yes Focus too....
C) Because of that, a bridge and a second ring is needed.
A challenge for Nick :-)

Hi Frank,
Why can't it use a fixed focus?

For the Samyang fisheye, see the small adaptation done by Michel Thoby on the NN R1/R10 Sigma ring (i.e. insertion of a lens support in aluminum), here is an
illustration of the project:

More info here: http://www.panoguide.com/forums/tipsntricks/6815/
it's a ±DIY solution.
Because the lens is better indoor at 3m and outdoor at infinity and the fact it has a long focusscale, it's nice to have a free focusring.
The biggest plus of this lens is only on a FF camera.
The lens itself is a bit of a hype now because it's cheap.
Wait and see how many actually use it and need a Fanotec solution.

I also find out that Sigma fisheyes for Sigma mount can share the same lens ring with sigma fisheyes for Canon.
