We have filed a more than one "help notice" with the twitter group but no word yet. I did learn that is it not uncommon for them to make mistakes in temporally suspending accounts - which is most likely what happen here. They say it could take up to 30 days to review - man they must have a lot of suspensions.
Support from our customers certainly couldn't hurt to get us up and running more quickly. So anyone interested in lending a helping hand please contact twitter.
