Nikon D200 and MB-D200

Hello,

Please go easy on me this is my first post and I am still trying to chose what pano system to go for...

I am thinking of getting a Ninja 3 for now, I use D200's with various lenses (Nikon 17-55 2.8, Nikon 75-300 etc.) but plan to use a Sigma 10-20 for the shots, however my main question is regarding the D200 fitted with an MB-D200 pack.

If I see:-
NikonD200/D300
Sigma 10-20mm Set to 10mm
NN3 - 53mm NN3 w/CP - 63mm
98mm

Do I just add the depth of my MB-D200 onto the 98mm?
Is the unit big enough for this?

Hi Steve,
You will not be able to use the battery grip on your DSLR with NN3, it causes the settings to fall out of adjust range. For this you would need NN5L.

Guess I will be looking at the NN5 then.....

Can you confirm my theory is correct? Will I just add the extra depth to the values displayed on the web site?
