Here is my setup for table panoramas:
The arca swiss clamp is mounted on a small table tripod.
This way I can easily move the NN3 from the large tripod to this one.
Or the camera can be mounted directly (has a plate attached)
for self timer pictures or long time exposures (candle light) :001_smile:

I have a very similar tabletop tripod which is light and strong. The three legs swivel around and fold flat. Very compact and light. It appears to be a type of die cast aluminum. The mini ballhead *was* a little different from J?ºrgen's Vanguard. I removed the head which leaves a 1/4" stud on top. I keep a 1/4" to 3/8" bushing handy which allows me to mount just about everything, 1/4" or 3/8". Camera, QR clamp, ballhead, NN5L, etc.

Just got the new Arca style Quick Release Clamp (http://store.nodalninja.com/product_p/asqrc1.htm)
I'm impressed with the quality. Just like the original Arca Swiss type clamp, but the big advantage is the stop and a much better price!
