This forum is great. Now I can get info at one site. I just ordered NN3 and can't wait to start learning to use it. It would be useful if posters would note which operating system they are using when discussing software. I have a Mac, older one - not Intel so I can't use Windows software.

For Mac software I've used Canon Photostitch 3.1 which came with a Canon G2 -- simple to use and does panos as well as mosaics, VRWorx http://www.vrtoolbox.com/ which I wasn't excited about for panos but it did nice QTVR objects, RealViz Stitcher http://www.realviz.com/ -- love the drag/drop simplicity, played with PTMac http://www.kekus.com/ a Mac front-end for the seriously powerful Panorama Tools library and PTGUI http://www.ptgui.com/ also a front end for Panorama Tools library, has a Mac version as well.
There's AutoPano http://www.autopano.net/ and several others that should work on a non-Intel Mac. I have an Intel iMac, a G4, G3 and a few ancient PowerMacs around here somewhere. I've used the above on the G4 for certain and probably some on the G3 (OS 9). I don't think you'll have a problem with software. Good luck!
