  • How to find LRS for R1-S

    Hi Guys,

More Info about the new R1-S: to get a basic info about possible LRS, measure H-R1-S and add 6.5mm offset.
Be aware to mount your lens ring in R1-S Position.

    Test your setting with http://www.easypano.com/forum/displa...1&TopicID=4162.

Would be nice if you guys send your personal LRS for different lens rings.

    So long,
    Heinz

I adjust the lower rail setting by tilting down the camera, using its magnified live view and check if the RS1 level is centered.

      hello hindenhaag
I'm not sure if i understand these illustrations, i have couple of questions if u do not mind
1- where to fix part 1 ?(sorry i do not know its name so i called it part 1, my attached pic will show you what i mean ) this part moves left and right and i do not see any mark
2- how to know the R1-S Position for samyang 8mm
3- so after fixing part 1 in the right position i need to fix part 2 (the reference point of vertical rail i.e. the small red arrow ) at distance of 6.5mm+H R1-S from part 1 , right?

Your LR reading should be 5.8. If you use 4mm spacer, then add 0.4 to it.

set the vertical rail to read 5.8 as in your setting 2. Lock the vertical rail knob. slide the stop plate against the vertical rail. lock it. Next time, you just ned to slide the vertical rail against the stop plate to setup the correct NPP.
