Hello, and sorry if this has been asked previously in the forum, I tried to search for it but it gives me an error 500 message.

I have been a photographer for some time now, but only started doing panos about a year and a half ago when I enrolled in the GBP program.
I have been using the R10 GBP kit, but now I want to be able to take nadir and zenith, to publish custom tours and on Google views.
The camera that I'm using is a 7D with the sigma 8mm. I will probably stick with it for now, but in the future I might change to a smaller camera, maybe an OM-D, A7... or maybe just upgrade the lens to achieve better quality.

I would really appreciate it if you could recommend which Nodal Ninja head & rotator would suit me best, as I have been looking for a while and I'm still confused, RS 1/2, NN 3/4...

Thank you in advance for all your help.

    Kind regards.

Hi Jose and welcome to the forum,

I think the RS-1 would serve your needs as a GBP Photographer. It was developed to take Zenith and Nadir in NPP Position. It is smaller than NN3 and NN4 and uses the same lens ring connection you are used to. Plus, you can use the Nadir Adapter as well by adding it to the lower rail.

Feel free to ask in case you are left with any other question.

    So Long,

RS1/2 are good balance of size. You can also attach arca rails to it upper rotator clamp.
RS1 will fit the mirrorless. RS2 will fit DSLR without battery grip.

Hi again! Thank you very much for your replies :)

So which one should I choose then to use with my 7D+Sigma 8mm, the RS1 or the RS2?
I have been following your post on Facebook "We try harder!", will it be possible to use the RS1/2 with the Samyang 7.5mm conversion kit? as I am planing to change to a smaller system (A6000 or Fuji X) very soon.

One more question, am I able to use the rotator mini RM4 from my R10? to detach do I only need to just unscrew the bottom screw?

Will it be OK to order from Spain and it be posted here?

Thank you again, I really appreciate your help.

        Kind regards.

Looks you are going for lighter setup in the near future. Then go for RS1. Yes, you can mount RM4 to RS1 (But not RS2).
