  • IOKA Theater

The IOKA Theater in Exeter, NH is closing tomorrow night. Tonight was a full house, they were showing (for free) Miracle on 34th Street.

I contacted the theater earlier in the day, and asked if I could come down ahead of the show to take some panos.

Hopefully someone will take over the theater, it has been running for 93 years (occasionally closing down and changing owners)

If walls could talk. Shame to see establishments having to go after 93 years of history. But you have helped to archive the end days.
I'm sure this trend will escalate due to the economic hardships felt around the world.
    Cheers

very nice panos. I am sure the high iso performance of 5D MKII will help in some of these indoor panos with moving people.

That was taken with a Canon 40D and Sigma 8mm fisheye.

I've since upgraded to a Canon 5D Mk II

The Sigma 8mm f/3.5 is my workhorse! It started on a Rebel XT in 2006, then migrated to my 40D Jan 2008, and now it's on my 5D Mk II. It's a great lens and the price has come down quite a bit.
