  • John Deere Pavilion - Project Can Do Combine

The John Deere Pavilion display floor in Moline, IL. The Project Can Do combine is set up in this panorama. This is a life size combine that is made of over 300,000 cans of food that were subsequently donated to the local food bank.

    The particulars are:
    Camera: Canon 1DmkIV
Lens: Canon EOS 16-35f2.8LII at 16mm
    Pano Head: Nodal Ninja V
    Tripod: Manfrotto 055XPROB
Frames every 36 degrees (10 frames per circle)
One row at -30 degrees and a second row at +30 degrees. Patched in the hole at the top and logo to cover the hole at the bottom.
    7 exposures for each frame to do HDR (-3eV, -2eV, -1eV, 0eV, +1eV, +2eV, +3eV)
    All frames shot in RAW
    Frames managed in Aperture
Stitched and HDR Processed with PTGui
Converted to 360 Pano with krpano tools
    Displayed with krpano

I'd appreciate any comments or critique.

Woops ... I didn't patch the top hole. Instead I grabbed another frame (with the same 7 exposures) straight up.
