  • Road trip

While driving back from my parent's place in Colorado last summer, I stopped several times to take panoramas. I previously posted one of the panoramas from mile marker 100. (Below is the thumbnail of that panorama) I have posted the rest from that trip. Since this was the dry time of the year, the scenery is not as green as it can be. All were done with a D300, Sigma 8mm, NN R1 and a monopod. Enjoy the somewhat dry scenery.

Very nice shots Dennis, did you take separate nadirs and patch in? I am trying to improve my workflow and am looking for advice on this point.

Sorry to hear about your Dog, Mines 12 and I am wondering how much longer shes got!

    Cheers

    Neil

When doing monopod work, I always take at least 1 hand held Nadir patch shot. http://www.dlsphoto.net/Tutorials/NadirShadow/index.htm. When I use my pano head (with the built in Nadir swivel) I swing the camera out and take the Nadir patch shot with the camera still on the pano head. http://www.dlsphoto.net/Tutorials/NadirPatch2/index.htm
