• Grand Canyon at Sunset

Been awhile since I posted a pano so here's one I recently put together. I shot this on a cold windy day last Dec at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon just as the sun was setting.
Pano gear: NN5 wRD16 + EZ-Leveler-II
Very far from perfection but it's good to have something to strive for.

Full screen mode, lens flare, cap only works from website link: click here

thx - Most people visit the GC in the Summer - Winter cold keeps most tourists away. Some areas of the park had about 3-4 feet of the white stuff. The snow adds great contrast but need to be careful not to get to close to the edges.

Bill,

please do us a favour not to step too close.

First because we want to see other nice panos, second you stand for Nodal Ninja. So keep away from edges.

Well I did stay behind the barrier this time - not like the last time however: http://www.circularworlds.com/panos/gc708.html
When doing cliff edge panos the trick I learned is NOT to look up when shooting the zenith :

Not many cliffs around here however - just snakes and cactus.
thx

So keep off snakes as well.

Tried to have a look, but the link does not open the pano on my mac.

BTW received your mail concerning Tuscon, thx for the information. We try to help ourselves during these days and looking forward to the results....
