as per title, anyone nailed the upper & lower rail settings for 5D2 & shaved Tokina 10-17 @ 12mm for either the RS-1 or RS-2...?

This particular combination is perhaps not very common. However, since there is only one adjustment possible, it shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes or so to determine the settings yourself. There's probably very little change in the settings over the lower range of focal lengths. See http://www.johnhpanos.com/epcalib.htm .

Oops - sorry, I had in mind the R1. The RS-1 of course has the lower rail adjustment too. It still won't take longer than 15min to set up.

Here's a way to get to know about you LRS settings:
For RS-2 you have to add 4mm instead of RS-1 because of different vertical rails and rotator measurements. H remains the same , depends on the lens ring you use.
