Hello,
Not new to panoramas, but getting ready to take the next big step forward and get into spherical panos. I have a 5DIII and was planning on using it with my 16-35 2.8, on top of a NN4 (which I have yet to purchase).

Will this lens work for spherical panos? Just a matter of simply taking more shots, or is the post process that much more difficult as well?

Also, will Hugin work sufficiently for stitching spherical panos?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks everyone.

Rodney

Hi Rodney and welcome to the forum,

Yes this lens will do it for spherical panos as well. @zoom 16 you will have to shoot 6 around for example.

I prefer PTGuiPro as stitching program. Autopano Giga of Kolor works as well.

Both are available as Trial version to test them. Test yourself and find out what you like more.
