Hi all I have been shooting VR for quite a long time and in the last few years have been working on several major projects. I converted over to shooting with Sony gear and personally think they are the dark horse. They make some great and very innovated equipment. Mid August I shot the cockpit of a Curtis Jr airplane with the Sony a77 and the Rokinon 8mm f3.5 lens. I like the rear LCD screen on the Sony a77 you can actually position it enough to focus by (you see in the first image below). That and focus peaking with image magnification makes it easy in shooting vr and setting up the camera alinement on the vr rig.

This is the overall shot before any work was done. I wanted to see how the 8mm Rokinon would handle flair and I feel my copy does a very good job
